I'm Kelly! I'm a connector, a creator, and a mentor. I'm passionate about bringing people together, especially to encourage women to get into and excel in tech, and I put together various events for charities. I love opera and the theater, I work as a software engineering manager and I'm currently focused on building my writing and speaking skills.

I started my journey into software engineering the summer before my junior year of college. Prior to, I had had a handful of different majors - I failed to get into music education, settled for English education, and then bounced through journalism and communications. I took one programming class and was hooked. With the support of my professor, I made the switch into computer science.

I’ve spent my early career moving from IC roles into management, which is where I’m most excited to be spending my energy and expanding my skills. My first professional experience was working with Microsoft Dynamics AX, and then I operated in Java, building electronic trading systems and customer facing analytics tools. Currently, I’m an engineering manager at Stash supporting and innovating on the banking product.

I co-founded Paint the Diamond Pink! an all-women charity softball tournament that aims to bring together and empower women in rec sports, and raise money for a great cause in the process.
